NAZAR The Legend of the Good Luck CharmI was automatically smitten by the call-outs the Turkish man was doing,"Here M'am,a ticket for you to Istanbul." I ventured into the small store and was immediately engulfed in another world,even though there were only accessories and some books selling.
NAZAR The Legend of the Good Luck Charm was the theme at IstanBlue, hence the EYES set the theme for the shop. And me being myself as always am obsessed with the beauty of the eye..and Turkey. So I got myself and my sisters a good luck charm bracelet each, not for the charm nor the magic, but for the Turkish intrigue i can feel whenever i touch the bracelet,more so whenever i wear it around my wrists..Call me silly, yes...

View my fantabulous supercalifragilisticexpialidoceous profile PEOPLE BOTHER ME ALL THE TIME IN THE REAL WORLD. Hence my poem-writing endeavour that began in 1999 during a boring lesson in class. I find that writing,just like paintings are, is a clever way of letting off steam & thoughts.It's when I can be all by myself in privacy of thoughts & action. And I absolutely love language. This is just like how I define arty: trying one's best to express oneself without being direct about it.
And my inspiration: Jewel, the love dew-eyed lady that writes and strums her own songs/poems.
Her brilliant collection of poems in her book sparked off the poet in me, i especially appreciate her freestyle poem composition,not binded by "a-b-a-b end rhythm rule" that conventional poems often mould.
WELL YOU BETTER NOT REGRET IT...because firstly I never promised anyone good poems or entertaining ones..Heck, I didn't promise that you'll understand anything here either, because all we'll be getting are MY poems..well the good thing about my poems is that they are never value-laden..They're just nonsensically expressive. On the other hand, I welcome comments anytime :p
